We had a rough afternoon yesterday with lots of grieving but this morning has brought new mercies! We've gotten small giggles and smiles! Here's a few videos of the action and one of her first bath. "hao hao" was her nickname in her foster family so we've been calling her that. Enjoy!! Today we're headed to lunch and then the museum.

Brock, Sawyer, and I just watched the videos and Sawyer was laughing back at her. Brock wants to know when you will be bringing her to meet us. I reminded him you guys live a few states away. He saw Avery on the video too. He is sitting here with me and so he is about to type a message to Avery:
i want to play with you.we realley want to see your baby. by from brock...he said he is thankful he has warm baths and that now the baby has a mommy and a daddy and has warm baths too! :) love you all. She is a doll!

Ava Love loved seeing you on the video. She wanted to see it over and over. You're a fun big sister! Ava Love also liked seeing Ashley in the tub. She wanted to know when we can come and visit you guys. Hopefully we can come very soon.

So sweet! We have been following your story, praying for you, anticipating this great time in the life of your family! I look forward to talking with you after you return home (once things settle down, of course). We are still enduring the long wait for our baby but seeing the photos of Ashlei, gives hope that "our story" will be a reality in our family one day!
Praying these next days go quickly but that you also "soak" up this time with your new baby without the distractions of your daily life. (easier said than done I'm sure) I'll probably laugh at my own advice when it's me in your shoes. :)

We got out to the park across the street from the hotel this morning. Chloe played a shooting balloons game with a gun - right up danger girls alley. There are some kiddy rides that might be fun for Avery when you guys get here. We go right out of the hotel and under the road through a subway type area so we don't need to play frogger crossing the street. Jude and I almost got squashed crossing the street yesterday.
