FOUR Weeks and Counting...

It's now been 4 weeks since our fingerprinting. Please pray with us that we'll recieve our approval this week. We know that the Lord is in control. Also, the transmission on our van looks like it went out today. (yeah, the day's pretty much sucked. I know, I hate that word, but it's the truth.) My husband's first words to me were, "this didn;t surprise God" as I tearfully called the tow truck. We have the cash to fix it. In our adoption savings. As Satan tries to thwart what God has set aside and provided for Ashley, please pray that we would be wise to his attack. He (Satan) would like nothing more than for us to believe that God won;t provide and try to get us to use that money for somehting other than what we know God has given us.

This is a family that is with our agency, AWAA. Denise just returned from China today..and this video is so amazing! Maggie Mae is so cute! She was also a SN adoption, she has a repaired VSD of her heart...it's amazing what China considers a special need!!

Two Weeks and Counting.....

please continue to pray that our 1-171 comes in the mail ASAP. We need it soon before some key documents begin to expire.

On another note, a wonderful family from Texas gave us a wonderful gift! They heard about us through a mutual friend and felt God calling them to help us with our adoption. Instead of presents for their little girls first birthday, they asked people to donate to help bring Ashley home! We are continually amazed at God's faithfulness to us and how He prompts people to give. Thank you, Landry Kate for giving up your presents for our Ashley! Your mom and dad will be another story we share with Ashley about how God used His people to help bring her home! Happy Birthday!

FINGERPRINTING IS COMPLETE!

We are SO thrilled that this is OVER. We headed to Jacksonville, Fl Monday night and arrived at our hotel at 1am. We were up early and went to the USCIS and got fingerprinted about 9am. Overall it was a lot of miles and totally exhausting, but we made it! We are SO SO glad that this huge step is over with and we anxiously await our 171. Soon, Lord, soon!! Please continue to pray with us that it will go smooth and nothing gets lost or misplaced, and that we get our 171 very quickly. Thank You!

Prayer Warriors Needed!!

We have two HUGE prayer requests!!

1.) We need our 171 here by April 25th. It's a long story why, but just pray for that date specifically. April 25th, Lord, April 25th!!!

2.) We sent off our grant application to Shaohannah's Hope today! This is the largest grant we'll be applying for and we're asking the Lord to grant us favor with the committee or individuals that decide. We should know something in about 6 weeks I think. Please pray that we would be awarded a grant!!!!!
